White wild thorn-apple flowers in the rain

Early in the morning today, it was cloudy so I thought of having some outdoor visit exploring some nature. Since it’s Monsoon here, and various kind of flora and fauna can be seen in abundance. You can see wild plants. weeds with attractive flowers, beetles, bugs and worms having conspicuous patterns and rich colors,  and so much more for those having an eye for nature’s variety.  I’m always attracted towards these things since I was a kid, and now that I have a camera, it’s more easy to record my observations and share them with others.

Here are few of the photos of flower of a somewhat wild plant, usually known as “Thorn-Apple” [due to its round fruit having spikes all around it]. Also called Moonflower because of its close resemblance to an ornamental plant having similar flowers. I usually see this plant growing in deserted places where all the usual weed grows. Even that plant is not usually considered as a domestic ornamental plant, perhaps due to its toxicity, still you can see how beautiful nature is even in the wild…

While I started taking photos, it started to drizzle, so I had to rush back home to grab an umbrella. Then it started raining, which enhanced the beauty of these flowers.
